With the Year 9 Resource, the teachers who used it have said that it really is a good resource. However, we used only some of the sections which suited our program.
Many of the activities have been used and they are excellent as they present the girls with real life experiences and the teachers said they would continue to use them.

The sections used were:

*Income and Investing which was the major one we used - it suited the topic , flowed easily and logically, and the associated
       activities were extremely effective.
*Calculating interest activities and smart investing activities were also used and were extremely effective.
*As we do the stock market game, the stock market unit was also easy to follow and was a great lead up.
We also used Personal Budget activities. (Kathy's Budget) was excellent.
*Understanding Credit Section was good e.g. value for money
*The entrepreneurial extended task was also used and effective.

Thank you for preparing realistic tasks for students.

Rhonda Rasmussen – Moreton Bay College

On discussion with some of our teachers:
- the unit was good with our brighter kids
- the unit could be adapted for our pvm kids if needed
- all thought that money was a very important topic

Overall a valuable resource.

"I have been using the Minor Money Matters program in my Year 3 classroom for the last 2 years. The first thing that impressed me about the program is how easy it is to use. All of the activities, investigations and worksheets are provided, thus saving time and work. They link into our school curriculum and are so easy to implement in the classroom. Most importantly, the kids have LOVED participating in the program. The activities are hands on and have real life relevance to them. It is amazing to see how much they learn through the implementation of Minor Money Matters in our classroom. I believe that all children should be involved in a program such as Minor Money Matters and will continue to use it to educate my students."
