Our Teacher Resource Programs
Our Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 teacher resources have been developed to make the implementation of the Consumer and Financial Literacy Framework as easy as possible for schools. They aim to save teachers and schools time and money. This is because the research, curriculum linking, student activities and addressing of Framework principles has all been done.
Each year 3, 5 and 7 resource is a whole unit of work, each one covering a two year juncture.
Our year 3, 5 and 7 resources:

About Financial Literacy in Schools
In 2003, ASIC developed a consultation paper called Financial Literacy in Schools.
In 2005, the Federal Australian Government developed the National Consumer and Financial Literacy Framework . This framework was initiated to respond to increasing personal debt and in particular to the mounting mobile phone debt that young Australians were creating, as well as an increasing credit card debt that Australians of all ages were maintaining.
Contained within that framework is the National Financial Literacy Framework, including Learning Principles for children in school years 3, 5, 7 and 9 .
